家庭教育权和隐私权法案(FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. 教育部.

FERPA gives parents certain rights with respect to their children's education records. These rights transfer to the student when he or she reaches the age of 18 or attends a school beyond the high school level. 学生 to whom the rights have transferred are eligible students.

The right to request the amendment of the student's education records that the parent or eligible student believes is inaccurate, 误导, or otherwise in violation of the parent or eligible student's privacy rights under FERPA. A parent or eligible student who wishes to ask 十大正规平台 to amend a record should write the 十大正规平台 official responsible for the record, clearly identify the part of the record the parent or eligible student wants changed, 并说明为什么要更改它.

A school official has a legitimate educational interest if the official needs to review an education record in order to fulfill his or her professional responsibilities for 十大正规平台.
